Q: Do you have a brick and mortar?
A: Functional China only has an online store. However, we do plan on getting into smoke shops and High end boutiques in the Los Angeles area.
Q: How long does it take to process an order.
A: Due to the COVID crisis Anywhere between 7-14 business days. Please emailfunctionalchina@gmail.com if youd like to request a rush on processing if you’re purchasing a gift for someone and have a specific timeline.
Q: What shipping service do you use?
A: Typically USPS priority mail. Shipping takes anywhere from 1-3 business days depending on how far you are from LA. DUE TO THE COVID CRISIS THERE MAY BE DELAYS IN SHIPPING.
Q: Cleaning instructions?
A: Clean the outside of your piece with warm water and dish soap. Clean the inside with 91-99% ISO alcohol and coarse salt. Cover the holes. Shake and swish until clean. Rinse thoroughly with water. For added care display on a neoprene coaster or bong mat. Store and transport in a padded carrying pouch.
For prevention I recommend using piece water solution that I plan on carrying on my site soon!
Q: Do you do custom conversions If I have a family heirloom, or find a piece on my own?
A: I certainly do! To get a quote email functionalchina@gmail.com with a picture of your treasure with the approximate height and weight and I will give you a rough quote. Please take note that a down stem and bowl changes the weight and price of shipping, and premium crystal bowls and add on’s come at an additional price.
Q. Do you do custom consignments.
A: I do, but they will be closed until 2020.
Q: Do you curate collections for weddings and events?
A: I do offer my services for custom curations and events on a limited basis. All curations and events will be given a rough quote and require a 50% deposit before I curate your order.
Q: Do you do consignments?
A: I do not.
Q: Do you whole sale?
A: Since all of my pieces are either custom made, or converted. They will be available on a very limited basis. With a bulk of 12-24 at the most. Production is set for the future, and will still be at limited quantities.
Q: what do I do of my dowm stem or custom grommet breaks.
A. Shoot me an email and I can send you replacements.
Q: I don’t live in a legal state, what’s your packaging like?
A: All packaging is discreet, and typically sent in recycled re-used boxes and packaging materials, with no invoice included. Your discretion is my number one priority.
